That's right. I made a MySpace account.

I'd been considering it for a time, because some friends have asked if I had one and convinced me I should. I've pretty much despised MySpace for a while, and I doubt I'll be getting addicted to it like some people, frankly because I rarely check my Sconex account and figure the situation will be the same with this. But it'll be fun finding my friends and all.

Wow, my first icon post. I'm not sure what the majority of you may think of these, but there's a few that I especially like and I hope they're of some use. I recently became icon-crazed, and so I'm still learning how to 'perfect' the art of creating icons and whatnot. Please, check out my resources in profile to see the wonderful artists whose textures and brushes were used in the making of these. Take them, use them, just credit me and leave a comment, or some feedback.

After two years under the livejournal username,just_a_gh0st, I heard the word 'cadaverous' while listening to "A Time to Be So Small" by Interpol, last track on the Antics CD, and branded it mine. I instantly fell in love with the word and its meaning, thus I had to have it. And of course, I was forced to attempt various names such as "_cadaverous" or "cadaverous_", all of which were reserved, until I was able to snag "cadaver_ous", which I believe is frankly, just awesome.

My name is Subrina, otherwise known as Mina, Rina, or Ri. I'm polite, poetic, humorous and sometimes simply dull. I have a tendency to attempt sarcasm, which may occasionally become a success. I suffer from low self-esteem but enjoy my life none the less (okay, I lied). I'm currently attending high school; your average teenager who's been sucked into the world of the internet and has developed a serious obsession with graphics. However, I also occupy my time reading. I love literature, the english language (at least what remains of it since its been maimed) and books. I'm a [wannabe] feminist, writer, artist, graphic/web designer and journalist. I'm not a big fan of fashion. In fact, some may think of me as a tomboy, although I couldn't classify myself as that, or anything for that matter.

Finally, this journal is semi-locked. I'd like to post the icons that I create for others to use (with credit), but besides this, my personal thoughts and opinions will not be public...which is certainly for the best.

And if after reading the above, you're still interested and would like to friend me, I applaud you and you should feel free to do so. Chances are, I will more than likely friend you back.
